Living in America I am in the victim of horrible television programming that is never funny, and sadly I have now watched every Might Boosh and It Crowd episode I can get my hands on. Wondering if anyone could recommend other good BBC programs for me to check out? I hate having to wait years for these things to maybe hit the states, and more often than not one of our networks just buys the idea and remakes the show into an incredibly unfunny American version. It's heartbreaking.

Thanks!

Just stumbled onto an article discussing the possibility of a new film based off Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles and maybe starring Robert Downey Jr. as Lestat. http://www.bscreview.com/2009/08/bsc-scoop-anne-rice-on-downey-jr-and-vampire-chronicles-movies/

I am a little torn by this as I do love the book series but have been weary ever since Queen of the Damned messed up everything in that book completely. Plus for me Tom Cruise will always be Lestat, he just nailed the part so perfectly in ...

I might have been a wussy child, but I remember there being some pretty terrifying stuff in old children's cartoons, so for the heck of it I am putting together a list of some that really terrified me. Please share any that you had!

1. Sleepy Beauty :

2.An American Tale: (at about 2:40)

3. Adventures of Mark Twain

Sadly couldn't find clips for the freaky part in Secret of Nimh with the great owl. Or the terrifying russian cats at the start of an american tale, but ...

This may be the most amazingly bad thing I have ever seen, to the point where I had to go and verify it wasn't a joke... watch for the shark jumping out of the water to bite the airplane... it's classic.
