BBC television shows?

Living in America I am in the victim of horrible television programming that is never funny, and sadly I have now watched every Might Boosh and It Crowd episode I can get my hands on. Wondering if anyone could recommend other good BBC programs for me to check out? I hate having to wait years for these things to maybe hit the states, and more often than not one of our networks just buys the idea and remakes the show into an incredibly unfunny American version. It's heartbreaking.

Thanks!

favorite non-gotl/alternative artists?

I was just wondering, since we pretty much exclusively talk about goth/alternative/metal music and I am sure most everyone on here is a little more well rounded than just that, what everyone's favorite artists from other Genres are?

I like a lot of 60s folk stuff like Arlo Guthrie and Simon and Garfunkel as well as Johnny Cash who i guess is country? not sure on him.

Anywho, yes, please share your other tastes here, I am quite curious to see what everyone is in to.

I just wanted to post as I'm really excited about going to Wendyhouse tonight - i think it's currently my favourite clubnight. I've not been in ages, and it's just really nice to go to a clubnight where usually it's well-attended and it's not cliquey, which you find so often at so many other clubs in other cities. Plus I'm an 80s feind so it's right up my alley!

A lot of people have said it sounds different and that they weren't into it, but I thought it was fantastic, they seem to just keep evolving for the better in my opinion at least. I personally have always loved Johnny the Homicidal Maniac by Jhonen Vasquez best of all, it's disturbing but incredibly funny and oddly cathartic after a long day....

Sometimes it can be oddly poetic too.

Let me know what you think!
